After a warm up of sentences using all we have learned in this unit, we reviewed for tomorrow's test. Students had a lot of opportunities to earn Oral points today.
Test Tomorrow over U1 See Documents pg for today's ppt w/ warm up, review worksheet and answers to the study guide given on Friday. Spanish 3 students began class with sentences that practiced the preterit and imperfect tenses and knowing when to use which. We reviewed this in class and earned oral points with our review. We completed a song lyric sheet and listened to the song afterwards. Then students completed a worksheet where they were to show me how these tenses are used.
Quiz Thursday over preterit vs imperfect Test over all of U1 on 5.4 All latework due by 5.7! See Documents pg for today's ppt with warm up and class review as well as today's worksheets Spanish 3 students began class with sentences that practiced the use of preterit and imperfect tenses. We reviewed when to use which as a class, then took notes in a visual format for these 2 tenses and their uses. We completed a lyric sheet by listening to the song. Then they completed a worksheet while taking notes of the clue words given on the worksheet for each tense.
Quiz over pret/imperf this Thursday, 4.28 U1 test, Tuesday, 5.4 See Documents pg for today's ppt with warm up, review and directions for visual notes as well as a link to the song we used in class today. Also attached is today's worksheet practicing preterit and imperfect Spanish 3 students began class by inserting the appropriate adverb in the blanks of given sentences. Then we began our journey into the preterit v/s the imperfect. Both past tenses- each with their own unique uses. We took notes and practiced this in class. We will continue our practice with these into next week.

Spanish 3 students began class with sentences reviewing the impersonal se we learned in class yesterday. We reviewed that for oral points today and practiced on a worksheet that we also went over in class for more oral points. Then we took new notes on Adverbs. After practicing these super easy words, we reviewed imperfect tense and impersonal se with a game of palomitas.
Quiz over pret v imperfect will be Thursday, 4.29 Test over U1 Tuesday, May 4 See Documents pg for today's ppt w/ warm up, review and new notes w/ practice on adverbs as well as the practice sheet completed in class on impersonal se Today Spanish 3 students began class with a worksheet on imperfect where they had to conjugate the verbs in imperfect then read the passages to determine which Disney Princess it was referring to. We then reviewed Reflexive verbs and how they are used in all verb tenses, before taking new notes on the Impersonal 'se' and the Excuse 'se' We practiced the use of these in class for oral points then students were to create their own signs using the impersonal 'se' with sentences from the textbook.

We then held a class review offering lots of Oral points and practiced with Conjuguemos accounts and Quizlet.

Spanish 3 students completed a circumlocution worksheet with the U1 vocab. After we practiced with some vocab in class, we reviewed the imperfect tense and earned more Oral points. Students completed an imperfect/vocab worksheet and we went over that in class for oral points, then they were to write a paragraph in Spanish about their childhood using the imperfect tense and turn that in.
