SpIII students were encouraged to study with their groups for today's test. We briefly reviewed before the test. After taking the U4 test, students picked up a vocabulary sheet on our novel we will be reading.

SpIII students came in class and picked up a worksheet using U4 vocab and subjunctive to complete. We reviewed all U4 today for tomorrow's quiz. Students had several sentences to sort into subjunctive and indicative piles. We discussed why for each sentence. We also played matamoscas to review our U4 vocab.

We reviewed as a class, then took the reassessment on Subjunctive. After this, students were to interview other classmates on their Pareja Ideal for Oral points. Then they conducted a partner interview using U4 vocab and concepts.

SpIII students began class by writing sentences in Spanish while determining if they need to be in subjunctive mood or not and conjugating the verbs appropriately. We reviewed all we have learned so far in the subjunctive mood then took our Quiz. After the quiz, students picked up the U4 study guide and began that.

We reviewed how to form the subjunctive and when to use it v/s when not to use it. We practiced as a class and wrote sentences using the WEIRDO acronym on the pictures on my ppt slide. SpIII students began class with a textbook activity where they had to fill in the blanks on a Spanish paragraph using either the subjunctive, indicative or infinitive. We reviewed the subjunctive mood and how to conjugate in it then completed a listening activity that involved a dialog in Spanish. After this we completed a worksheet using subjunctive. We ended class decorating lunch bags for underprivileged children for Give Back Get Back. We will complete these tomorrow along with our quiz review.

SpIII students began class by writing their own sentences in Spanish using the Subjunctive mood. We reviewed the Subjunctive and added an acronym for the use of Subjunctive. We practiced this a bit in class then students wrote about what they want in an ideal partner, teacher, friend, etc (they chose their own person) in Spanish using the subjunctive.

I was out of school today, but I left notes for students to copy off of a ppt and classwork. For the warm up, students should have completed a textbook activity. After this, they should have taken notes from the ppt on Subjunctive and practiced some of these as a class. I will go over any uncertainties on today's notes in class tomorrow. After the notes, students had a worksheet to complete where they had to interpret the already written sentences to decide whether the blank needed to be filled with a verb in the subjunctive, indicative or infinitive form.

We then reviewed our vocab using circumlocution before taking the quiz. After the quiz, students picked up a worksheet on using Subjunctive or Indicative and completed that as well as translating the paragraph.

We then practiced our vocab by filling in the blanks of Spanish sentences with the correct Spanish vocab. We reviewed the subjunctive- how it's formed and what 3 parts are required in a subjunctive sentence, then I gave them a lyric sheet to a song that used both subjunctive and indicative. We discussed why some were subjunctive and why others were indicative when they looked to be set up the same (it's all in the meaning you want to convey!). After listening to the song, we played Quizlet.live to practice our vocabulary with circumlocution.
