Today, students completed a learning style and personality inventory and filled out a notecard for me with that and other information. We discussed different tips on how to use their learning styles to study and help them learn/ remember better. We reviewed the interrogatives in Spanish and practiced making questions in Spanish from pictures as well as from answers given in Spanish. We then reviewed some irregular verbs that we have learned over the years and how they are used. At the end of class, we played Preferirías and discussed these question/answers.
Students should review Spanish I and II for homework each night and come in with any questions they have. See Documents pg (button under picture above) for the links to the inventories as well as the powerpoint from today that includes the warm up instructions, interrogative review and irregular verb review.

Today was the last day we worked on projects. These were due by the end of the class period.
Final Exams next Wed and Thursday (during 1st and 2nd block times) Nothing on Documents pg for today. NO warm up today. I did give several speaking point opportunities for those who still need them. The rest of class was dedicated to working on the projects.
U7 Projects due tomorrow by the end of your class period! Nothing on Documents page for today. Spanish 2 students began class with a set of sentences to write in Spanish using the VLGs we learned in class yesterday. These verbs use the same structure as Gustar which we learned how to do in Spanish 1 and still use in 2. I gave lots of opportunities for Speaking points, then I went over the directions on the project and students started that. This project is a Summative Grade for U7!

After practicing these as a class, students completed a worksheet. I also had students begin to think of a character they like that they will be able to write about in Spanish using the daily routines.

After the quiz, students completed a worksheet to review the verb Gustar in preparation for Monday's notes (verbs like Gustar).
U7 Summative Project due Friday, Dec 11th Final Exams are Virtual this semester on Wednesday, Dec 16th and Thursday, Dec 17th with makeup on Friday Dec 18th. Today students wrote their own spanish sentences to describe the daily routine of Maximilio using the picture I provided. We then reviewed for tomorrow's quiz. We went over and practiced reflexive verbs, completed a listening activity using reflexives and vocabulary, reviewed vocab using circumlocution and completed a mini-study guide on reflexive verbs.

After this, we reviewed what reflexive verbs are and how to form them in Spanish. We listened to songs to help us remember how to form them and filled out lyric sheets for these songs.
