Spanish II students began their Final Exams today by taking the Speaking as well as the 1st 1/2 of the writing portion. After they turned this in, they picked up another study guide to practice for their Finals with.
Tomorrow- 2nd portion of Writing Final/ Speaking for any absents Thursday- Listening and Reading portions of Final Exams See Documents pg for today's study guide and answers. spII students began class by writing sentences using a variety of vocab and grammar from units 8 and 9. We briefly reviewed as a class then took the test. After the test, students picked up a sheet of possible questions for the Oral portion of the final exam to work on.

SpII students began with picking up and working on the study guide for tomorrow's test. As a class, we reviewed the grammar from Unit 8 (we reviewed U9 yesterday). After this, students played Cucharas to review the U8 vocabulary
Test over U8 and 9 tomorrow Speaking/Writing Final Tues/Weds 12.17-12.18 Listening/ Reading Final Thurs 12.19 See Documents pg for today's ppt w/ class review as well as the study guide for tomorrow's test and the answer to the s.g. SpI students completed a worksheet at the beginning of class on verbs that change meaning in the preterit. We reviewed verbs that change meaning and irregular preterits as a class then played Palomitas to review for group points. We reviewed U9 vocab with a game of Jeopardy
Test over U8 and 9 Friday Speaking/ Writing Final Exams moved to Tues and Weds 12.17-12.18 Listening/ Reading Final Exam Thursday 12.19 See Documents pg for today's ppt w/ class review as well as our warm up worksheet. SpII students began class with a workbook page to complete from Unit 9 vocab and irregular verbs in preterit. Then we took new notes on verbs that change meaning when using them in the preterit tense. After practicing this as a class, students completed another workbook page using these verbs and students were able to complete and turn in yesterday's crossword. At the end of class we played matamoscas with our U9 vocabulary Spanish to Spanish.
Test this Friday over Units 8 & 9 Speaking/Writing Final exam moved to Tuesday and Wednesday of next week 12.17-18 Listening/Reading Final Exam Thursday 12.19 See Documents pg for today's ppt w/ warm up instructions (workbook avail online at vhlcentral.com), new notes and class practice as well as the workbook pg and activities for today's classwork. Crossword is from yesterday's post. SpII students began class with a list of sentences to write in Spanish. We reviewed as a class and played matamoscas to review U9 vocab. Then we took the U9 quiz. After the quiz, students picked up a crossword to complete. We will continue with verbs that change meaning in the preterit tomorrow.
