SpII students began class with a textbook activity where they had to use vocab and preterit tense. We then took new notes on Comparisons of Inequality (more than, less than, older than, younger than, better than, worse than). We practiced using each comparison as a class then students were to write their own comparative sentences in Spanish. At the end of class, we played matamoscas with our U8 vocab including our new comparative vocab.

Spanish II students began with a warm up on stem-changing conjugations in the preterit as well as circumlocution for vocabulary. We reviewed stem-changers in the preterit tense then our U8 vocab. After the quiz, students picked up a worksheet where they were to draw a representation of 20 of our U8 vocab words and pick 10 to describe in Spanish. Those who did not finish this in class, were able to take home for homework.

We reviewed Stem-changing preterits-- which stem-change, where they stem-change and how they stem-change-- then played Jenga conjugating stem-changers. We then moved on to Quizlet.live to review our U8 vocab

Spanish II students began class with an identification worksheet where they had to identify and write the Spanish foods for the pictures given on another sheet. After this, we reviewed stem-changing verbs in the preterit tense- which ones have this change, where and how this change occurs. We practiced conjugating these verbs as a class then grouped up to to play several games on Quizlet live. We then played BINGO to review our vocabulary from U8.

We reviewed our new vocabulary with circumlocution then completed some listening activities from the book.

Spanish II students began class by translating a short list of sentences into Spanish using U7 vocab and grammar. We reviewed all of the U7 grammar as a class and practiced some before working on the study guide. SpII students began by writing sentences using verbs like gustar as well as affirmative and negative terms from U7. We reviewed both of these as a class and played matamoscas with them before taking the quiz. After the quiz, students completed a textbook activity reviewing the preterit forms of Ser and Ir.

SpII students began with a 1/2 worksheet where they had to change the affirmative sentences to negatives and visa versa using our U7 vocabulary. We reviewed Verbs Like Gustar as a class, then played tic tac toe with them. After this, we completed a listening activity using vlg's and completed a worksheet where they had to change the subject which may or may not change the conjugation of the verbs. We also reviewed affirmative/negative words as a class and practiced giving the opposites for Oral points. At the end of class, we played matamoscas using vlg's and affirm/neg words.
