SpII students started class by picking up a Tic Tac Toe sheet for U7. They wre to complete ONE square today for their warm up activity. I met with students individually on yesterday's quiz-- what was good, what needs more work, how to improve, who needs to come in for tutorng... We then took new notes on affirmative and negative vocabulary words in U7. What the words mean should already be known from studying their vocabulary. How they are used is the new grammar portion for today's notes. After going over how to use them and learning that Double Negatives are not only proper, but Required in Spanish (!!), students completed a textbook activity using negative words from the given affirmative words. In the last few minutes of class, we played matamoscas for group points.
