Today, students complete a warm up of sentences using the class notes we took. Then we review, making questions, Ser/Estar, -ar verbs and Gustar. We practice using Flipgrid for oral assessments. We also played on Quizlet.live. Lots of opportunities for Oral points occur in class each day! Make sure you are getting yours as they will go in as a monthly grade!
Oral Assessment in class tomorrow! If you were not able to practice with Flipgrid in class today, make sure you do that for homework! Today's ppt w/ warm up and class practice/links avail on Documents pg of this blog (button under picture at top) After a warm up of time and ser/estar, students need to check their virtual lockers. If they only answered 3 questions not the 5 given in my example both in class and on my example slide, they need to correct these. Then they are to write questions for the given answers on slide 3. On slide 4 fill in the blanks iwth the appropriate conjugation of the correct verb for "to be." Practice telling time in Spanish. Review basic weather vocab from the first days of Spanish 1. Then review the school vocabulary. Then make sure you log into Office 365 to complete the Personality Test (so many of you did not so it does not have your name attached!) and the new learning styles quiz.
This is all on the ppt that is attached to the Documents pg (see button under picture near top of page). Make sure you open the ppt that has today's date and is for SpII, bc there will also be one there for Sp1! Even with the worldwide issues Zoom was having, we carried on! Today's warm up was a review of the verbs Ser and Estar and when to use which. We reviewed these verbs together as a class and practiced with a Quizizz activity. We then moved on to review telling time in Spanish while practicing this, our time ran out so students were told to finish the ppt for tomorrow. It is giving more time in Spanish (using y and menos when the time is over :45) and then coming up with questions to answers I had typed.
Complete the ppt (on documents page) on time and coming up with questions for the answers given on the last slide. Begin Review of the U2 vocab from Sp1 either from your notes or with our online textbook: vhlcentral.com I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Write down any questions on our work you have and bring them to class with you tomorrow. Have a great Monday! |
