spII students picked up a worksheet to nominate classmates on superlatives in Spanish and they had to write sentences using superlatives in Spanish at the bottom of the worksheet. We then began a food project for our Speaking test on this Unit. We went over the instructions as a class then began to research in the computer lab. We will continue our research in the computer lab tomorrow and Friday.
Project due the Tuesday we return from November Break. See Documents pg for today's warm up worksheet and instructions for our project. spanish II students began with a warm up of sentences using comparisons in Spanish. We reviewed comparisons as a class, then took new notes on Superlatives in Spanish. We practiced these as a class, before students were to complete sentences in their groups using their new notes. Then students worked on their own to write their own Oscars in Spanish using the Superlative formulas. At the end of class, we played a game of matamoscas using both comparisons and superlatives.

SpII students began class with a textbook activity using preterit stem changers and U8 vocab. We then took new notes on Comparisons of Inequality in Spanish. We practiced this as a class as we were taking the notes. Students were to write their own sentences using the comparisons we were learning. After this, we played matamoscas with our U8 vocabulary with students giving the Spanish descriptions.

Spanish II students began with a 1/2 worksheet where they had to fill in the blanks of a Spanish paragraph with the correct vocab word and conjugations when necessary. We reviewed the stem changing verb rules for the preterit tense and practiced that as a class. Then we played matamoscas to review the U8 vocabulary. After the quiz, students picked up a Conjugarte worksheet where they have to draw the lines from the correct box of conjugated verbs. Some took this home for homework if they did not finish in class today.

STudents picked up a copy of pg 88 in the Descubre workbook (avail online) that practiced stem changing verbs in preterit used with Unit 8 vocabulary. We reviewed the preterit tense as a class and students were to write their own interview questions in the preterit tense then go around and ask different students their questions. This was a good oral and writing practice as they had to speak in complete Spanish sentences as well as write them out on the worksheet. After this, we played Quizlet.live to further review for tomorrow's Quiz

Warm up avail online Students began with a worksheet that had them practice the preterit stem changing verbs in Spanish. We reviewed these as a class, then completed a Dados activity where students had to create their own sentences in Spanish with given verbs and subjects. After this, we played matamoscas to practice our vocabulary and I had the students give the clues in Spanish for the players to find the Spanish vocab words.

We then reviewed Stem-changing preterits with a guided note sheet since this is such a large and irregular tense. We practiced with sentences then played matamoscas to practice our vocabulary.
